I feel lucky to have found Catherine and Elegant Service. Even at very short notice she was able to help me out and fill all of the needs of a very large party of well over 100 guests. Catherine, You truly run a professional business. The two servers worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly. I had forgotten to set out the cake topper, but they were right on top of everything. My 14yr old daughter noticed and felt bad they were cleaning up at the end of the night and pointed this out to us. We told her she could step right on in, but she felt they had it under control. :) We enjoyed having the bartender as well, everyone thought he was great. We have used Elegant Service twice now for bartending service for large holiday parties in South Charlotte - in both cases we were supplied with 2 excellent bartenders - they were prompt, polite, attentive to our guests,knew how to mix every drink they were asked (and offered great suggestions as well). They set up and cleaned up their stations and worked well with our caterers. The prep material that Catherine provided was also very helpful in terms of estimating quantities of booze, mixers etc etc.

We have utilized Elegant Service twice, first in 2006, and again in 2007; the first party had approximately 100 guests, and Catherine provided a bartender and a server for that party. The second party, held in May of 2007, had approximately 150 guests, and Catherine provided a bartender and two servers/helpers for that event.Catherine knows what is required to make a party work; her pre-party advice about what to buy to ensure a well stocked bar was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Catherine, Jose was great. He interacted very well with my guests as well as being a very courteous bartender. As fellow bartender, usually the drinks are a variation of rum, vodka, gin, coke, sprite, tonic, club soda, cranberry juice, and sour mix. My bar was fully stocked with those items and more. The bartender’s knowledge of drinks was very impressive as my guests provided a challenge in both asking for very esoteric drinks as well as many really not knowing what they wanted. Jose was able to provide them drinks that appeased their confused palette..
